3 जुलाई/पुण्य-तिथि विरक्त सन्त : स्वामी रामसुखदास जी धर्मप्राण भारत में एक से बढ़कर एक विरक्त सन्त एवं महात्माओं ने जन्म लिया है। ऐसे ही सन्तों में शिरोमणि थे परम वीतरागी स्वामी रामसुखदेव जी महाराज। स्वामी जी के जन्म आदि की ठीक तिथि एवं स्थान का प्रायः पता नहीं लगता; क्योंकि इस बारे में उन्होंने पूछने पर भी कभी चर्चा नहीं की। फिर भी जिला बीकानेर (राजस्थान) के किसी गाँव में उनका जन्म 1902 ई. में हुआ था, ऐसा कहा जाता है। उनका बचपन का नाम क्या था, यह भी लोगों को नहीं पता; पर इतना सत्य है कि बाल्यवस्था से ही साधु सन्तों के साथ बैठने में उन्हें बहुत सुख मिलता था। जिस अवस्था में अन्य बच्चे खेलकूद और खाने-पीने में लगे रहते थे, उस समय वे एकान्त में बैठकर साधना करना पसन्द करते थे। बीकानेर में ही उनका सम्पर्क श्री गम्भीरचन्द दुजारी से हुआ। दुजारी जी भाई हनुमानप्रसाद पोद्दार एवं सेठ जयदयाल गोयन्दका के आध्यात्मिक विचारों से बहुत प्रभावित थे। इस प्रकार रामसुखदास जी भी इन महानुभावों के सम्पर्क में आ गये। जब इन महानुभावों ने गोरखपुर में ‘गीता प्रेस’ की स्थापना की, तो रा...

While searching for oldest calender (which is from Sanatan Dharma called "Shristi-Samvat" ) , google took me to this link and a Journal called Dialouge with this link . And I found it publish quality papers on Sanatan History and contemporary issues. It is published from an organization called Astha Bharati . They also publish quality journal called Chintan-Srijan in Hindi. Their website is rudimentary but contents are not.
Dr. Yashwant Pathak , International Coordinator, ICCS, USA ( http://iccsus.org/ ) talks on comparative study of various ancient traditions & cultures in remote areas of north-eastern parts of India, American Indian, South American traditions as Inca,Mayan and the African continent. Dr. Pathak is presently the Associate Dean in College of Pharmacy, University of South Florida ( http://is.gd/oo7HYd ).
